05. TRESPASS and RUSH
More stuff came in the mail! This time I went ahead and ordered physical copies of MONSTA X's Trespass and Rush. In an effort to save on shipping costs, I ordered these from someone else other than my regular go-to k-pop store and was pleased with the cost, speed, and quality of the goods I received.
I decided to go ahead and get these because being the Monbebe I am, I figured I should make it a point to own (physical) copies of all MONSTA X's albums/mini albums, especially since their discography isn't super extensive at this point.
Both albums are like a CD case/photo book all-in-one hybrid type thing. Trespass is quite a bit bigger (in dimensions, not really in the amount of photos) than Rush. All the photos are in black and white.
It's no Shine Forever repackage album by any means, but you still get a nice amount of photos in the photo book and the CD is tightly nestled in the back cover. You also get a random photo card and I think it was Kihyun that came in this one? I don't remember since I opened both CDs right after another. I had heard most of this CD, but there were two songs I wasn't as familiar with which were 훔쳐 (Humchyeo) and Interstellar. Trespass was an awesome debut song and that along with Blue Moon are definitely my favorites on this album.
Now on to their second mini album, Rush. I don't know if this is a super common format for k-pop albums since I haven't ordered very many physical albums, but Rush is set up just like Taemin's ACE and PRESS IT albums. Hardcover album that's about the same size dimension-wise as a normal CD case, CD goes in the front cover, and then a full-length photo book is embedded into the cover. You also get a random member photo card with this, and I believe Shownu came in this one. I don't know, all that really matters is that I got two photo cards, one of Kihyun and one of Shownu. I also don't know why, but I wanted the Secret version of RUSH. There are two versions, though I don't think much differs between the two other than the color of the cover. HOWEVER, Secret version sounds cooler than Official version, so that's why I got that one. I did already own digital copies of the songs, so there wasn't anything new for me to hear on this one.
